M.P. "Dexter" Eaves is the past elected District Attorney of Victoria County,
(1999-2006), an entrepreneur and a former Marine Corps infantry officer. He
has more than 16 years of trial experience in civil and criminal law.
He is a 1991 graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law. Mr. Eaves is a member
of the State Bar of Texas and has been admitted to practice law in the U.S. Southern
Judicial District of Texas courts.

Julie Bauknight is a former Victoria County prosecutor and experienced litigation attorney.
She has more than 14 years of courtroom experience. She also speaks proficient Spanish.
Ella Habla Espanol. She studied abroad in both Mexico and Spain.
She is a 1993 graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law and a member of the State Bar of Texas.

David Benning Smith is a former award-winning prosecutor with more than six years of
jury trial experience. He is the son of missionaries, and has a special place in his
heart for adoption cases.
He is a 1999 graduate of the Baylor University Law School and a member of the State
Bar of Texas. He has also been admitted to practice law in the courts of the U.S.
Southern Judicial District of Texas.
